Our hydrogen generators can be used with different modes, depending on your needs:
Continuous Mode
This mode means the Kinell Energy Hydrogen generator is used to deliver a steady, constant power output, covering ongoing electrical consumption without interruption, for example supplying an on-site telecom tower or similar load throughout an event.
Hybrid Mode
Here the hydrogen genset is combined with battery storage, just like our H150-ICE. The genset recharges the batteries, which then handle peak power demands when loads temporarily spike. This reduces stress on the genset and provides a smoother overall power profile.
Hybrid Max Mode
In hybrid max mode, the Kinell Energy Hydrogen generator supports another generation source, often a renewable source such as photovoltaics, by supplying power during times when that source isn’t producing enough (e.g., at night or during low solar output periods). The genset helps ensure uninterrupted energy availability in these cycles.
Grid Injection Mode
This mode means the Kinell Energy Hydrogen generator feeds electricity directly into the grid, effectively valorizing surplus or “stranded” hydrogen by converting it into clean, dispatchable power. This approach not only optimizes energy resources but also supports grid stability and decarbonization.
